Jacyn’s practice encompasses the full spectrum of corporate transactions, concentrating on mergers and acquisitions (both private and public), private equity investments, takeovers, corporate restructuring, joint ventures and foreign investments.

She represents bidders, sellers and target companies in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and financial investors in private equity transactions across a broad spectrum of industries such as consumer and retail, education, energy, fintech, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and telecommunications.

  • Axiata Group Berhad's sale of the Celcom group of companies to Digi.com Berhad.
  • Axiata Group Berhad's acquisition of 66.03% equity interest in PT Link Net TBK.
  • A non-Malaysian entity's submitted bid for Ramsay Sime-Darby Healthcare Sdn Bhd.
  • Columbia Asia's acquisition of an under-construction hospital from IMU Education Sdn Bhd and IHH Healthcare Berhad.
  • Columbia Asia's acquisition of Rumah Sakit Medika Bumi Serpong Damai from KPJ Healthcare Berhad.
  • A leading global alternative asset firm's majority investment in iNova Pharmaceuticals, a leading independent consumer healthcare and medicine products company in Asia Pacific.
  • Acquisition of the IMU group of companies by a consortium led by amongst others a leading global fund from IHH Healthcare Berhad.
  • Paramount Corporation Berhad's disposal of its controlling interests in its K-12 education business (voted as the Best M&A Deal by The Edge Malaysia 2020).
  • Macrovalue Sdn Bhd's acquisition of the Giant, Cold Storage, Mercato, TMC and Giant Mini businesses in Malaysia from DFI Retail Group Management Ltd.
  • AIGF Capital's sale of its stake in the Jaya Grocer group of companies.
  • AMAB Holdings Sdn Bhd's sale of its stake in AmMetLife Insurance Berhad and AmMetLife Takaful Berhad to Great Eastern Life Assurance Berhad and Great Eastern Takaful Berhad.
  • Alliance Investment Bank Berhad's sale of its stockbroking business to Philip Capital Sdn Bhd.
  • Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad's disposal of its capital markets business to Alliance Islamic Bank Berhad.
  • Apricus Global Pte. Ltd's voluntary conditional general offer in relation to Boardroom Limited.
  • Taliworks Corporation Berhad's acquisition of solar energy facilities in Malaysia from Brookfield Asset Management and SEV Renewables Sdn Bhd.
  • CapitaLand's acquisition of the Ascendas-Singbridge group of companies from Ascendas-Singbridge Pte. Ltd. where the deal was valued at S$11 billion.
