PETRONAS LNG Sdn Bhd’s disposal of 25% stake in PETRONAS PFLNG 3 Sdn Bhd to SMJ Energy Sdn Bhd

Christopher & Lee Ong, a member firm of Rajah & Tann Asia, advised PETRONAS LNG Sdn Bhd on its disposal of a 25% equity stake in PFLNG 3 Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of PETRONAS, to SMJ Energy Sdn Bhd. This transaction marks another significant collaboration between the national oil company and the State of Sabah, Malaysia. PFLNG 3 Sdn Bhd is developing a US$3.1 billion nearshore floating liquefied natural gas facility at the Sipitang Oil and Gas Industrial Park.
