On 22 May 2025, Rajah & Tann Asia organised the Regional Employment Conference 2025 with the theme “Data Centres at the Nexus of Land, Power, and Technology: Strategies for Investment, Growth and Sustainability”. The conference focused on the rapid and sustained developments in the data centre sector in the SIJORI (Singapore-Johor-Riau) growth triangle and other emerging regions in Southeast Asia. As data centres continue to play a pivotal role in the digital economy, understanding the strategic and operational complexities is essential for staying competitive in this dynamic landscape. Topics covered at the conference included the following:

- The Land Game for Data Centres: A Deep Dive and Strategies for Success
- Powering the Future: Sustainable Infrastructure and Energy in Data Centres
The speakers comprised Partners Zacky Z. Husein and Heru Pamungkas (Assegaf Hamzah & Partners); Deepak Pillai, Chor Jack and Kelvin Kho (Christopher Lee & Ong); Rajesh Sreenivasan (Head, Technology, Media & Telecommunications), Benjamin ST Tay (Deputy Head, Corporate Real Estate), Soh Lip San (Rajah & Tann Singapore); and Logan Leung (Rajah & Tann LCT Lawyers). Bertrand Seah from CBRE and Michael Belov from Levanta Renewables were the guest speakers.
